Get Away to the Country
Set in the Heart of the Western Catskill Mountains, our Country Manor Inn Bed and Breakfast puts you right at the center of outdoor adventure and great destinations to explore. We’re just a short ride (or walk) outside of the charming Upstate New York village of Sharon Springs that attracted the fabulous Beekman Boys to stage a Harvest Festival there in episode 2 of their first season. The recent revitalization of our village has made it a great place to shop, browse, and enjoy a farm-to-table meal accompanied by local craft beverages.

Many of our guests rely on us as their ‘home-base’ for easy day trips to surrounding destinations. The world-famous Howe Caverns is just 15 miles to our southeast, and the equally famous Glimmerglass Opera is half an hour to our southwest. The Otsego Lake village of Cooperstown is only 20 minutes away, and boasts national attractions including The Baseball Hall of Fame, The Farmers Museum, and the Fenimore Art Museum. Summer paddle-boat lake tours are fun for everyone, and beer lovers delight in visiting Brewery Ommegang, The Red Shed Brewery Cooperstown Taproom, and Council Rock Brewing.

Outdoor enthusiasts find that no matter what time of year you visit, there’s always something great to do. Springtime offers up some of the best trout fishing in the Catskill’s, while Autumn brings an abundance of wild turkeys, pheasants, and deer. Snowshoeing and cross-county skiing provide great winter fun!

Our quiet and peaceful Victorian Manor sits atop a hill overlooking 4 acres of rolling lawns and stone walls. Our comfy rooms give you a great night’s sleep and our hearty, homemade breakfasts give you the fuel you need to start and enjoy your day. We all hope to see you soon!
